B. Rich: The Blog

Pushing the Button

I've debated and debated for months on if I should or should not blog. I came to the conclusion that it was fear holding me up from releasing it. Fear was creating some pretty scary thoughts and the truth is, it was all in my head. Fear will make you miss out on blessings, opportunities, and (ultimately) greatness, if you allow it. Today, I decided to put all the negative thoughts that I had to the side and just start. Fear. Will. Not. Win!

Brittany Richardson

Here I am

My name is Brittany and I am a portrait, wedding, and branding photographer out of the Atlanta, GA area. I love capturing love, life, and everything in between. I am a mother to two super busy, incredibly smart children (Khi & Avery) and a wife to my husband, Sam. I am also a pet mom to a miniature Schnauzer, Misha, who has been a part of our lives for almost 7 years now.

I am a native of Columbia, SC but have lived in Georgia for almost a decade. It seems like yesterday that I made the decision to take a leap of faith as a 20 something year old and try life a different way three hours away from all my closest family and friends. I still consider myself a "Carolina Girl" more-so than a "Georgia Peach." I am honestly not sure if this will ever change... and I'm ok with that. I love Spring time and the feeling of blossoming something New. I also enjoy the warm/cool mixture of an Autumn breeze and admiring the beauty of the watching the colors of leaves change to various shades of yellow, orange, and red as the days go by.

My weekdays are spent working towards harmonizing life's struggles as a working Mompreneur (Mom+Entrepreneur). To be honest, most of the time I am juggling so many hats at one time that I'm not even sure what I wore yesterday (let alone cooked for dinner). I'm a nine to fiver with a full-time job which is wonderful and challenging. We'll talk more about balancing the circus act of life as the days go on. Hopefully, this blog will give you a whole picture of B. Rich, not only as a photographer, but as a woman and a mother trying to keep it all together.

Stay Tuned

Keep reading. Hold me accountable if I haven't blogged as often as I should. Like, comment, and share so that we can all get to know one another during this process. Laugh with me. Cry with me. Let's encourage one another, together.

This is the beginning of something new and I'm pretty doggone excited to finally push the button and launch B. Rich: The Blog!
